This September the Killarney Show & Rodeo Society is hosting a “Station Dinner” on behalf of John Brosnan who is leading a team of packhorses 400km from Blackbutt to Killarney to raise money for Dolly’s Dream.
The “Station Dinner” will be a two-course meal featuring the famous Killarney Standing Rib Roast. The event will not only welcome John on his arrival in Killarney but raise money for a great cause.
We will begin the event on the lawn for a few beers (cash bar) from 5pm to welcome John and the team to Killarney. There will be a chance to meet John and the horses when they arrive.
After sunset, we will move to the Supper Room for dinner and a performance by bush songwriter Martin Oaks. Martin’s songs tell the stories of the people, animals and places which make up life in the outback.
Our MC Bernie Brosnan, will steer the evening including introducing John, so we can hear more about his trip. We will also have a couple of raffles running during the event to try your luck!
Bruce Halter will be performing his danceable mix of country, blues and rock music to round out the evening.
The “Station Dinner” will be held from 5 pm, on Saturday 25 September at the Killarney Showgrounds in the Supper Room.
Tickets will be available online from Register Now
